The office of Judge Lina Hidalgo is hosting a public-facing engagement initiative called Talking Transition: Harris County. This effort is designed to engage Harris county residents, as well as civic, community, and business leaders in conversations about the future of Harris County over the coming weeks.

Why should you attend? Judge Hidalgo’s office and Harris County departments are calling on community members for input – any and ALL input. The event also aims to ensure that residents of Harris County are aware of resources regarding Resilience & Flood Mitigation, and the ways in which to communicate and engage these resources accross our communities.

LAST MEETING: This Saturday March 23rd,Civic Saturday –Flood Mitigation. Scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the White Oak Congerence Center (7603 Antoine, Houston, TX 77088 ), the program is open to EVERYONE.   Community discussion will be facilitated by the Greater Houston Flood Mitigation Consortium.
